TYPES OF LICENSES, USE OF THE SITE AND ORIGINAL CONTENT COPYRIGHT

The entire website "SutapaBasu" and all its contents, as an intellectual creation and multimedia artwork, is copyright protected by the current Spanish legislation and international Intellectual Property.  "SutapaBasu" defines the following types of license (these are usage rights and never include the sale of rights to materials nor distribution rights) to all downloadable content, whether a payment is required or not to use it:

• Family License: is a license intended for the family and lets you use the materials for personal, noncommercial use whenever any immediate family member (grandparents, parents, children) is present. This license expressly prohibits the sale of copies to others, but allows the creation of copies for different purposes (car, mp3, etc.) within the family holding the license .
• Teacher/Professional license : is an individual license designed for teachers and education professionals (psychologist, teachers, therapists, etc..), which allows the use of materials for the realization of their professional work individually and within their respective classrooms, offices and cabinets. Can not give copies to others (including students and patients), but can maintain several copies on different media.
• School license: is a group license that allows any professional school or college, or any other educational institution, to enjoy a Teacher license, with a special feature that allows the transfer of materials among professionals in the center

None of these licenses allow the modification or creation of derivative works (which will require prior authorization in writing). Nor can they be used in radio, television, internet or other media without prior written authorization. Materials distribution and the any commercial benefit using our stories and materials is expressly prohibited , except as expressly stated in this section.  

In general, content that can be accessed with no registered access nor other restrictions is regulated by the Family and Teacher licenses. Content obtained through a paid plan is governed by the specific characteristics of the plan hired.

"SutapaBasu" allow for the dissemination of our text stories for educational purposes (not commercial or for profit) under the following conditions:

• For a web publication, add a link to the website of "Stories for Your Kids" and cite the author's name. Other publications, just mention the website and the author's name
• More than 10 stories or articles can not be used on the same site, whether physical or electronic. Any amount over that limit must be approved in advance in writing.
• For no cost local and small circulation magazines, just mention author's name and the website below the story or stories published. Each publication may not contain more than 2 stories per issue or more than 15 in different issues of the magazine without prior written authorization.

Any use of the contents for commercial purposes, or which is not reflected in these conditions must be authorized in writing. For inquiries in this regard please use the following contact form . Some of the contents of the website (as part of the drawings and photographs, and classic stories) are not the intellectual property of "SutapaBasu. They have been taken from sources considered as public domain. In case you think any of them is subject to intellectual property, you must notify to us, so that the content is removed from the web site as soon as possible. "SutapaBasu" is a site for families, parents, teachers and children. Any attitude or comments we deem inappropriate for this age will result in their removal and the cancellation of the user account, without any rights or compensation.
